    The PT-PR04G-DIN is a four-channel Gigabit PoE surge protector designed to protect four high-power PoE links from lightning surges and voltage spikes. It supports gigabit Ethernet and passes up to 120W of PoE power to protected devices.
    Installed inline between the PSE and PD, the protector supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt and PoE++ equipment and provides up to 20kV surge protection. It requires no separate power supply but must be properly grounded for effective protection. Its compact zinc alloy enclosure simplifies installation in industrial applications.

    Features

    The PT-PR04G-DIN has eight bidirectional Gigabit RJ45 ports arranged as four inline channels with 20kV surge protection. Either port in each channel can serve as the input or output, allowing flexible PoE and data connections.

    The PT-PR04G-DIN supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt and PoE++ devices and is also compatible with non-standard Ethernet equipment. We recommend installing the protector inline within 50 cm of the protected device using shielded Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable. To protect both ends of a long cable run, install and ground one unit near the switch and another near the remote device.
    PT-PR04G-DIN features a compact IP40 zinc alloy enclosure for DIN-Rail mounting and operates from -40°C to 85°C. It handles up to 10kA maximum discharge current and 5ns response time.

    Yes, absolutely! It simultaneously provides stable charging (5V2A) and a 10/100Mbps network connection, so watching videos or joining online meetings will be completely smooth and lag-free.

    Q: I want to run a network cable from my study to the garage so I can watch instructional videos on my iPad. It's about 200 feet—will the signal drop?

    A:

    Not at all! Using a Cat5e or Cat6 network cable, it supports a distance of up to 100 meters (about 328 feet).

    Q: Does this adapter need to be plugged into a separate power outlet? How do I connect it?

    A:

    No extra power outlet is needed! It uses PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology. You just need to connect it to a PoE switch or a PoE injector with a single network cable, and it will power up itself while delivering internet and power to your iPad.
