    The PT-PR01G-DIN is a DIN-rail industrial Gigabit PoE surge protector that protects high-power PoE links from lightning surges and voltage spikes. It supports gigabit Ethernet and passes up to 120W of PoE power to protected devices.
    The protector installed inline between the PSE and PD, it is compatible with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt and PoE++ equipment and provides up to 20kV surge protection. Its compact IP40 zinc-alloy enclosure simplifies installation in industrial control cabinets.

    Features

    The PT-PR01G-DIN features two RJ45 ports to provide a protected Gigabit PoE channel with 20kV surge protection. It carries data and PoE power between the network source and the protected device while diverting excess surge energy to ground.

    The PT-PR01G-DIN supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt and PoE++ devices and is also compatible with non-standard Ethernet equipment. We recommend installing the protector inline within 50 cm of the protected device using shielded Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable. To protect both ends of a long cable run, install and ground one unit near the switch and another near the remote device.
    PT-PR01G-DIN features a compact IP40 zinc alloy enclosure and operates from -40°C to 85°C for industrial applications. It handles up to 10kA maximum discharge current and 1ns response time.
