    PTAP-AF is a single-port PoE to Apple Lightning adapter featuring an RJ45 input port and a Lightning male connector for seamless indoor connectivity. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at standard PoE devices, converting 40–57Vdc input into a safe 5Vdc 2.0A (10W) power output and stable 10/100Mbps Ethernet data for iPhones and iPads. Encased in an IP40 fire-retardant plastic housing, it operates reliably from 0°C to 40°C and supports long-distance network deployments up to 100 meters.

    The adapter delivers data and power from an IEEE 802.3af/at PoE injector or switch to an iPad, iPhone, or other compatible device through its integrated Lightning cable. Its PoE input supports both Mode A and Mode B pin assignments, with data and power transmission up to 100 meters over Cat5e/Cat6 cabling.
    The compact IP40 flame-retardant plastic enclosure is designed for indoor use from 0°C to 40°C. It can be placed on a desktop or secured to a plate or wall using the reserved mounting holes.

    Yes, absolutely! It simultaneously provides stable charging (5V2A) and a 10/100Mbps network connection, so watching videos or joining online meetings will be completely smooth and lag-free.

    Q: I want to run a network cable from my study to the garage so I can watch instructional videos on my iPad. It's about 200 feet—will the signal drop?

    A:

    Not at all! Using a Cat5e or Cat6 network cable, it supports a distance of up to 100 meters (about 328 feet).

    Q: Does this adapter need to be plugged into a separate power outlet? How do I connect it?

    A:

    No extra power outlet is needed! It uses PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology. You just need to connect it to a PoE switch or a PoE injector with a single network cable, and it will power up itself while delivering internet and power to your iPad.
