PoE (Power over Ethernet) network power supply products.
I see RJ45 ports on both ends, but the labels just say 'PoE Input or PoE Output'. Which way is 'in' and which way is 'out'? If I accidentally plug it in backward, will it fry my camera or my injector?
Don't worry! Plugging it in backward won't burn out your gear, but to get the absolute best lightning protection, you'll want to follow the setup diagrams. While both ports are identical and have minimal signal loss, a good rule of thumb is to treat the side with the grounding screw terminal as the side closest to your protected device (like your PoE camera or switch).
