Will the injector provide poe if there is no connection to a router in the lan side? I just need power to my wireless camera
The router is not required, but the connection to the camera has to be POE. You could make a cable to pull the power from the POE connector to supply the power to the camera, but this seems over complicated. Why not just run a power line for the camera ?
