PoE technology has the following advantages:

First, data and power are transmitted through standard Ethernet cables without power and AC/DC power outlets. When the PoE standard is still in the IEEE 802.3 af/at stage, and the power is limited to 30W, the application scope of PoE technology is narrow, which cannot meet the power supply requirements of 60W, 90W and other high-power equipment. Therefore, "power limitation" is regarded as one of the disadvantages of PoE technology. With the release of bt PoE technical standard, the application scope of PoE technology has been greatly expanded, and PoE can supply power for most intelligent IP devices.
