Energy Efficiency Level VI PoE Injector

Apr. 13, 2022

Under the rising trend of global environmental awareness, the power supply industry has higher requirements for no-load power consumption of external power supplies. The Energy's Efficiency Level VI standards in US and Power Efficiency 5th Edition (CoC v5) in the EU all have clear requirements on the level standard of energy consumption. Both standards are set up to ensure that external power supplies are fully efficient under no-load and normal operation to reduce energy waste. At present, the United States, Canada, and the European Union all have adopted the six-level energy efficiency standard. Solving the energy loss problem of power supply is the trend and the future for the industry.

Based on the U.S. 2016 New Energy Efficiency Level VI Regulations and the 2019 EU External Power Supply Energy Efficiency ErP Update Regulations (see the attached table for details), the new regulations require power products to increase their average efficiency by 3-5%, and the no-load power consumption must be lower than 75mW. The PROCET keeps up with the pace of environmental trends and started our new product development based on the new regulations in 2017.

Procet's newly designed EN series single-port 15.4W power PoE external power adapter has AC 3Pin power input and transmits data through the LAN port. These products fully conform to the EU and US Energy Efficiency Level VI. The appearance closure adopts ultrasonic technology instead of screw design, reducing the use of hardware materials, environmental protection design shared molds, reducing the loss of residual materials and environmental pollution.

PROCET always responds to international environmental protection policies and focuses on the development and manufacture of environmental PoE power supply products. All our raw materials meet RoHS Compliance, the whole production including product design, raw material procurement, manufacturing process, and factory operations are under control. All these efficiently reduce the impact and harm to the environment/climate in the whole product production cycle.
