RSU is Road Side Unit or Road Side Unit, which is an ETC system that is installed on the road side. It realises an all-round connection between road and vehicle, road and people, and road and cloud, providing traffic safety, traffic efficiency and information service applications for networked vehicles, as well as effective technology for collaborative traffic control and traffic operation services.The Ethernet (PoE) in the RSU roadside unit plays the role of power supply + network transmission, as in the ETC system where the RSU is mounted on the gantry at the top end of the highway and communicates via Ethernet (PoE) and the control box below.
